The CHERUB Christmas Story was a mini-story published by Robert Muchamore after the publication of CHERUB:Maximum Security and before the release of CHERUB:The Fall. it is about what the gang does at Christmas, and about a CHERUB reunion.

The CHERUB Christams Story takes place on December 24th 2004, in between CHERUB: Class A and CHERUB: Maximum Security.

In Chapter 1, James goes to his old neighbourhood, where he used to live with his mum and step-sister Lauren before their mum died. He goes along with his friend Bruce to take the some stolen Christmas gifts for his friends back at campus. The goods were with, his Mum’s ‘number two’, Alan who is now appears to be in charge of the empire after Gwen’s death. James gets worried by Alan having his flat overcrowding with stoled goods as the cops would throw him in to prison for a long time.

The only gifts that are revealed are; ‘Burnout three, five copies, Gabrielle's make up, PDA for Kerry, Lauren's clothes, my extra large nunchakas, Predator footy boots size six, Dior perfume set for Kerry, FCUK stuff for Bethany, two pairs of …’ (said by Bruce). James paid £580, but Alan gave him £300 back, because his mum had been very kind to Alan in the past. That is the main plot of chapter 1. --ri0t 11:56, 1 November 2008 (GMT)

In Chapter 2 the kids are in a jovial mood as they have got off school until the start of January. However, due to Laurens misfortune in Class A where she hit Mr Large with a spade, she was in the ditches at the back of the CHERUB Campus. Her and Kyle are working hard when a member of staff tells them to have a break. This instance was re-visited in Man vs Beast. One of Dr McAfferty's old friends crashes a buggy into the dojo after drinking.

It shows James' gentle side.
