What is slash?
'Slash' is a description or story of homosexual relations between two or more people. Slash is (sadly) banned on CF due to the X-Rated content it normally entails. Despite this being the rule, in a previous incarnation of the notorious IIOKTBG thread slash was fairly prevalent, and mostly ignored by the moderators, who were often the ones posting it. In the new IIOKTBG thread, moderators are keen to keep it serious and non-slashy.
Etymological Roots
The term 'slash' originates from the Star Trek community. It stems from the use of a forward slash between the names of the people invovled in the story. I.E.: Kirk/Spock.
Famous Forum Slashers
Two of the most famous slashers on the forums are shinabu and wearestardust. They are known to slash just about anyone. One of their favourite victims is Josh04 who is often unwillingly the target of their slash. Spanner with whom he is often slashed now has protection from slashing. But that doesn't stop the slashers from doing it. Other famous slash include Kaila, Happychick, Heller and Digger.
