Ronald Onions is James' evil stepfather and Lauren's father. The kids share the same mother, Gwen Choke. Ron was arrested and sent to prison for nine years after smuggling cigarettes and drugs.
He will be released in 2012.
In The Recruit, he stopped James contacting Lauren, before he were recruited and for a while after, until he was arrested.
