Ronald Onions is James' very evil stepfather and Lauren's father. The kids share the same mother, Gwen Choke who was found dead one night. Ron was arrested and sent to prison for nine years after smuggling cigarettes and drugs, while in prison he broke two of his arms in a fight(ha ha). He was found out after punching Lauren in The Recruit when she told her teacher what happened.
He will be released in 2012 and have no idea where James and Lauren are.
In The Recruit, he stopped James contacting Lauren, before he was recruited and for a while after, but during a misson James, Bruce and Kyle managed to sneak into his flat and see lauren.
When James gets back from Basic Training Lauren is in her Spainish Class! He finds out about Ron and his prison sentence later that day.In conclusion, James is right, Ron is a complete retard!
