Robert Muchamore

Robert Muchamore is the author of the CHERUB series. He got the idea of creating CHERUB when he had to take his nephew to see Spy Kids. He wanted to create a story about young spies that would be believable. He didn't want it to have crazy gadgets or weapons.

He is 35 years old, lives in London, has 3 sworn enemies and has an invisible friend named Eric who lives in Rob's toilet cistern. Rob's lifelong ambition is to be the fourth powerpuff girl.

Rob administrates CHERUB Forums, although he is not the founder. Rob makes an effort to visit the forums every day, and takes an active role in the community.

Before (and through the start of his career as an author) Rob worked as a private investigator but all he did there was bring tea and coffee to the real investigators. His career as a Private Investigator ended spectacularly after Rob threw a carton of wipes at his bosses head, and missed, denting the ceiling tiles.

Rob spectacularly called Toenails a dildo, a moment that not only made Toenails "The only brand of dildo endorsed by Robert Muchamore", but also won a CHERUB Forums Award.

The first novel, CHERUB: The Recruit won the 2005 Red House Children's book of the year award. His series has also won 10 other major book awards and is awesome. Robbie is also the greastest man in the history of the universe, except me. He comes in at second on the greatness scale, me being first, Bear Grylls being third.
