Meryl Spencer
From Chiki
Only a handful of CHERUB staff are not former pupils. Meryl Spencer is one of them. She was born in Kenya in 1968, is dark skinned, exactly 188cm tall and is also exceptionally muscular.
Now nearing the age of forty, Meryl is still single, and has to cope with the loss of her father, who died in 2002. Her mother, on the other hand, is still alive and lives close to the campus.
Meryl's main role is senior athletics coach, but has picked up a second role as a CHERUB handler. She holds a level four security clearance.
Career
Unlike most CHERUB staff, Meryl is not a former pupil. She was born and grow up in Kenya. At the age of 18, she was received a full athletic scholarship to the university of southern Califonia.
Through out the nineties, Meryl was a professional athlete. During this period, she was ranked in the top three women sprinters in the world and, during the 1996 olympics, won her a gold medal.
In 1999, she gave up as a professional, and worked as an athlete coach in Kenya for a year. But in 2000, left and joined CHERUB as an athletics coach. Two years later, she was appointed senior athletics coach and picked up a second role as a CHERUB handler.
