Marc Kilgour is a French orphan who was left at Beauvais' train station when he was a baby. He was then taken to the local all boys orphange.
At the age of 12, he got tired of being at the orphanarium so decided to leave, which he had always dreamed of doing but never had the guts to do. He stole Money from the orphange's director and the bike that the director had bought from the money that the boys had made from working on nearby shops and farms.
He rode into Beauvais and the bike he stole got stolen from him by a rouge solider. He was the kindfully taken to paris by some men he did not actually know but he then found out that the men were drunk and deserters. The men crashed the car and Marc was forced to walk the rest of the way into paris.
When he got there, he stayed away from the centre - finding Charles Henderson's house. He forcefully entered through the side window. Marc stayed several days before the German secret police found him in the British spy's house and started to torture him. The pulled out one of Marcs teeth before realising that he did not actually know anything about Charles Henderson.
In Eagle Day Marc and Charles Henderson break into a consulate office gaining a passport for Marc to cross the Channel into the UK.
