Lauren Zoe Adams, born Lauren Zoe Onions, is the younger sister of James Adams. She was recruited to CHERUB in 2003 and started her basic training soon after. However, after an incident involving Norman Large and a convienent spade, she left the course. However, she retook it and passed, gaining her grey shirt.

Lauren's best friend is Bethany Parker.

Role in the Series

The Recruit

Lauren went to live with her father Ron after Gwen died. When Lauren's maths tracher noticed that Lauren had got a black eye from Ron she called the police, who discovered that Ron was smuggling in cigarettes from France. Ron was arrested and Lauren was sent to CHERUB.

Class A

Lauren was partnered with Bethany during basic training. When Large started picking on Bethany, Lauren knocked Large out with a spade. He was punished by having to clear out the ditches behind campus with Kyle, who had been caught smoking cannibis.

Maximum Security

Lauren passes basic training and recieved her navy shirt for her role in James' mission. During the course of the mission, Lauren was almost smothered by Eugene Driscoll, but stabbed him in the neck with a Biro.

The Killing

Lauren and Kerry were sent to Palm Hill to search Michael and Patricia Patel's house.

Divine Madness

Lauren recieved her black shirt for saving five toddlers from certain death inside The Survivors' Ark, which was under attack by the Australian military. This made her the third youngest black shirt in CHERUB's history.

Man vs Beast

Lauren was severely punished for blackmailing James into helping her smuggle pick-me-up packages into the basic training compound. She later went on James and Kyle's mission and was persuaded to become vegetarian by Ryan Quinn.

The Fall

Lauren was sent on a mission to try and extract information about a paedophile gang from Anna Chaika, but was kidnapped by the gang and almost raped. Lauren stabbed her attacker in the groin and led Anna and several dozen sex slaves to freedom.

Mad Dogs

After Large threatened to kill Meatball unless Lauren put in a good word for him at his disclipinary hearing for drunken conduct, Lauren and Kyle concocted a plan to get revenge by setting James up with his adopted daughter Hayley. Large, furious, attempted to kill Meatball and then strangle Kyle, but Lauren luckily knocked him out with a spade - again. She was punished with suspension from missions and having to help out in the junior block.

The Sleepwalker

Lauren had her punishment shortened for outstanding conduct during a training exercise, but was told if she acted up again she would be expelled. Lauren later went on a mission with Jake to divulge information from Fahim Bin Hassam about his father's involvement with an airliner explosion.

The General

Lauren was teamed with Rat, Bethany, Jake, Andy, Kevin and Ronan to infiltrate and vandalise an airport control tower.

Persona

Lauren Adams is an outstanding undercover agent; but her downfall is her behaviour. In Mad Dogs she was suspended from missions and got a job looking after red-shirts, which she hated at first but got used to since she got to miss dance and drama lessons. Her main behaviour problems are blackmailing, leading to the final suspension of missions was revenge against Norman Large. She gathered a team consisting of Kyle, James, Bruce, Kerry and Andy and made Norman Large's daughter, Hayley, believe that James fancied her. When the photos of James and Hayley all over each other at the back of a restaurant were shown to Large, he lost his temper and assaulted Kyle and Lauren, resulting in Large being fired.
