Introduction
IIOTBG stands for Is It Ok To Be Gay, and is the title of a thread started by absath. The thread was home to intense discussion on the subject and, nearing the end of it's first incarnation, a large amount of slash.
IIOTBG II
After losing nearly 20 pages for the second time the first IIOTBG was locked by Commander Of One to save it, and another was created to take it's place. At one point this second thread was renamed It IS OK to be Gay. After an outcry by the seemingly permanent inhabitants of the thread, the title was changed back to it's original form.
IIOTBG Today
Elven Prince adopted the newly reborn thread and ruled over it with an iron fist even though he is not a moderator of the board it resides in. Lately, however, although the topic sill sees many furious debates to do with the LGBT community, it is slowly being invaded by slash. To which EP is not happy about. Samson, Playa, kaphwan, Commander Of One, Toneh, TomBeasley, Xyemzx,Mike and Elven Prince are some of the threads resident members.
The tradition now with IIOTBG is that it gets reborn when it reaches a large number of pages, usually in the region of 120. We are currently on IIOTBG XI Edition and there is no intention of letting it dwindle and die, although the southern hemisphere residents, kaphwan, Jackeh and Samson among them have been quiet lately.
As of today (the 7th of Feb 2008) IIOTBG VI has been born!

Crackdown
In February 2008, many of IIOKTBG's posts began going missing. It was revealed that some of the Global Moderators, mainly King Jungulan, were cracking down on the spam that had caused the last two incarnations of IIOKTBG to last a matter of weeks by deleting posts that didn't contribute to the discussion. This was met with mixed opinions by the resident members of the thread but has been accepted as beneficial and IIOKTBG now contains a lot more meaningful discussions.
IIOKTBG VI
On February 28th 2008 IIOKTBG VI was locked after an argument over the the spaminess of the thread.
