Hodder One

Hodder One is a fictional 80,000 tonne supertanker, used to ship books (notably CHERUB: Class A) into the country.

First (and only) mentioned in the September 2004 edition of CHERUB News, riots supposedly erupted as the ship tried to unload the first 25 million copies of CHERUB: Class A in a Dover shipyard. According to CHERUB News, as 5000 police officers mounted on camels and armed with ray guns and howitzers battled waves of eager CHERUB fans, valiant staff from Hodder Children's Books formed a 300 strong human chain to move the books into a fleet of sixty Chinook helicopters, before the books were flown to a secret bunker in Derbyshire.

Due to many fans actually believing this story, Hodder One has never since been mentioned in CHERUB News, and Rob has made CHERUB News stories more serious.

Rumours of a whole CHERUB Carrier Battle Group are unconfirmed.
