| CHERUB career | Unknown |
Dr. Terence McAfferty, born Terence Henderson, is now 180 cm tall and bald. His father was the founder of Cherub, who was shot by his wife in 1946. His mother comitted suicide in a mental institution in 1948. He was the Chairman of CHERUB, with a security clearance of level 1 and hostage risk status.
He married Catherine in 1965. He has five daughters and one son.
His father was Charles Henderson, the person who founded CHERUB. Not many people know that the first two letters of CHERUB stand for Charles Henderson, and the last four will probably be found out in the end of the series.
In 1950 he joined Cherub, before leaving 19 years later with 19 missions under his belt. He spent six years after 1962 at Cambridge, and got a PHD in physics. Between 1968-72 he worked for Empire Electrical Company. In 1975, he founded "MAC" Semiconductor Company. In 1978 he joined the Cherub Ethics Comitte. Four years later he sold his holdings in MAC semiconductor for £3.5 million. In 1983 he rejoined CHERUB as Deupty Chairman, before becoming Chairman ten years later. In 2006, he retired from the position of chairman and was replaced by Zara Asker.
He recently returned to CHERUB in The Sleepwalker after his wife, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren died in a plane crash. He is now intersted in working part time as a mission controller.
