Synopsis

James, Lauren and Dana are sent to Australia to uncover links between the rich cult "The Survivors" and the terrorist group Help Earth. The Survivors' Ark is located kilometres out in the Australian outback, where James is under massive pressure to conform. It's not only the mission he has to work for - James has to battle to preserve his mind.

Plot

Bruce, Kerry and Kyle start off on a mission in the the heart of Hong Kong. There mission is to infiltrate a family living near by, who's son works for a terrorist group help Earth. After a link is discovered between a rich religious cult called the Survivors and Help Earth, James, Lauren and Dana are sent to help ASIS agent Abigail Sanders infiltrate the Survivors Brisbane commune. After James witnesses the commune's director Elliot Moss geting stabbed by Ronnie Wildman, Ween one of the leading survivors at the Brisbane commune decides that James should be moved away to avoid him opening his mouth, allows James and Lauren to attend the Survivors elite boarding school inside the sacred ark itself.

Once there James and Lauren are almost completely cut off from the outside world. When the Australian military make a surprise raid on the Ark, James, Lauren and Joel Regans son Rat have to fight to get out alive.

Outtakes

On page 34, just as Bruce steps down from the vending machine, a scene involving Bruce fighting a punk was edited out of the book because "the editor said that Bruce beating someone up on a train platform was unnecessarily violent." This outtake is viewable on the CHERUB website here.

Another outtakes introduced us to James' father, his fiance and his daughter.
