Denis Obidin was mayor of Aero City until his assassination by Boris and Isla Kotenkov, two corrupt MI5 agents hired by Lord Frederick Hilton. He has a brother, Vladimir Obidin, the chief of police in Aero City, a son, Mark Obidin, and a wife who took his position as mayor in early 2007. He built Aero City to accomodate the Hilton Aerospace airport, but did not pay Hilton money he owed; thus he was assassinated.
