The founder of CHERUB, born in 1907. He joined British Naval Intelligence in 1934 and worked undercover in France throughout World War Two .In 1941, Charles Henderson was fighting as a British agent in German-occupied France. He was impressed at how the local freedom-fighters used children as spies, and a year later, formed Henderson's Boys.

When he returned to Britain he convinced his superiors to set up a small unit which became knows as CHERUB.

Unfortunately, Charles Henderson did not live to see his organisation thrive. He was murdered by his wife in 1946.

His only son, Terence, became one of the first CHERUB agents (Under his assumed name, McAfferty) and was the chairman of the organisation his father founded, until Zara Asker took over.
