Tom is a member of the forums. After spamming for a while, later making more meaningful, quality posts, he spied an empty mod position and applied for modship, an enterprise which was successful.
He does not know any of the other forumers apart from Liam, whom he met at a Robert Muchamore signing. He has also attempted to lead a disastrous campaign to make the forum ad-free. He has also been quoted as 'very surprised' that someone has been bothered to make an article about him. He has made at least ten other articles about other members. He created the CHERUBQuest online game, which failed epically when the team of developers got bored.
